Wir haben 30 Künstler*innen aus 13 Ländern gebeten, einen Sticker für uns zu entwerfen. Alle hatten bei der Gestaltung ihres Stickers völlige Freiheit, alleinige Vorgabe war das kreisrunde Format. »It’s Sticky!« ist die erste, interaktive Ausstellung und Kunstaktion im Raum für Illustration. Die Besucher*innen waren eingeladen, die Sticker frei im Ausstellungsraum zu verkleben und unbegrenzt viele Sticker mitzunehmen und so die Ausstellung in die Welt zu tragen.

We have asked 30 artists from 13 countries to illustrate stickers for us. The only specification they had to fulfill was that the sticker needed to be round. Otherwise, the artists had absolute autonomy in choosing their design. »It’s Sticky!« was the first and interactive exhibition and art event at Raum für Illustration. The guests were encouraged to stick the stickers wherever they wanted across the exhibition room and could take as many stickers home as they wanted, to extend the exhibition beyond our studio.
