PARADISE PARK FUN LIFESTYLE

Die Künstlergruppe Gaffa lud in ihrer Ausstellung »PARADISE PARK FUN LIFESTYLE« dazu ein, von Teneriffa zu träumen. Sie transformierte den RFI in eine Mischung aus Reisebüro und Teneriffa-Kultstätte. Das Kernstück ihrer Installation bildete ein zweistündiges Video. Das Video zeigte in einem Bildschirmmitschnitt das Suchen und Ansehen von Fotos und Videos rund um die Begriffe »Teneriffa«, »Urlaub«, »Traumdestination« usw.

Die Ausstellung der Schweizer Künstlergruppe Gaffa wurde freundlich unterstützt von Pro Helvetia, Schweizer Kulturstiftung; Kanton St.Gallen CH; Stadt St. Gallen CH; Kanton Appenzell Ausserrhoden CH.

In their exhibition »PARADISE PARK FUN LIFESTYLE«, the artist group Gaffa invited people to dream about Tenerife. Gaffa transformed RFI into a mixture between a travel agency and a Tenerife cult place. The centerpiece of their installation was a two-hour video. The video showed a screen recording of the search and viewing of visuals relating to the terms »Tenerife«, »vacation«, »dream destination«, etc.
