Description
Theo Huber (*1987) is a visual artist based in Hamburg. He studied in Halle, Dresden and Boston and completed his MFA in 2024 in the class of Jutta Koether at the HfBK Hamburg. In his painting practice, Theo looks for images that tell of the daily struggles, joys, longings, and failures of being human. He creates pictures by combining autobiographical references, everyday observations, comic elements, and surreal inventions. In these works, inner processes – such as feelings or memories – meet the circumstances of the world surrounding him: paying rent, traffic, nightlife, and much more.
