Description
déla Bierbaumer, a graphic designer and illustrator with Austrian roots, lives in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic. She works at the Faculty of Art and Design and runs the screen-printing workshop „U Pavouka“ („At the Spider“). Together with her partner Marek Fanta, she focuses on illustration, publication design, and the visualization of exhibitions in the cultural sector. Both are the main organizers of the FIK Festival of Illustration, Comics and Video Games, which will celebrate its tenth edition this November at Hraničář Town Hall. Adéla has published two books: the meditative picture essay „První muž“ („Taketaketake“) and a self-published pictorial dictionary of Germanisms, „Wörtník“.
