»It’s Sticky!« war nicht nur unsere erste interaktive Ausstellung und Kunstaktion im RFI, es war vor allem auch ein großes Selfpromotion-Event, mit dem Zweck auf den neu gegründeten »Raum für Illustration« aufmerksam zu machen. Für »It’s Sticky!« haben wir 30 Illustrator*innen aus 13 Ländern gebeten Sticker zu entwerfen. Die Gestaltung der Sticker wurde den Künstler*innen völlig freigestellt, einzige Vorgabe war das kreisrunde Format. Die Besucher*innen von »It’s Sticky!« waren eingeladen, die Sticker frei im Ausstellungsraum zu verkleben und unbegrenzt viele Sticker mitzunehmen um sie anderorts zu verteilen.
Über die Aktion wurde sowohl in nationalen wie in internationalen Medien berichtet.

»It’s Sticky!« was not only our first interactive exhibition and art campaign at the RFI, it was also a major self-promotion event with the aim of drawing attention to the newly founded »Raum für Illustration«.
For »It’s Sticky!«, we asked 30 illustrators from 13 countries to design stickers. The design of the stickers was completely up to the artists, the only requirement was the circular format. Visitors to »It’s Sticky!« were invited to stick the stickers anywhere in the exhibition space and to take an unlimited number of stickers with them to stick in other places.
The campaign was reported on in national and international media.
