»CANTASTORIA – It is comics, is it theatre?«
Cantastoria oder canta historia ist eine Theaterform, bei der ein Darsteller eine Geschichte erzählt oder singt, während er zu einer Reihe von Bildern gestikuliert. Es ist eine lustige und günstige Art, kurze Geschichten zu erzählen oder wichtige Informationen auf der Straße, auf Märkten, in Bars und bei Protesten zu verbreiten.
In diesem Workshop werden die Teilnehmer mit Hilfe der Illustratorin und Puppenspielerin Zsófi Rumi etwas über das Genre und seine heutige Verwendung erfahren, eine kurze Aufführung sehen und was am wichtigsten ist — auch ihre eigenen Cantastorias herstellen.

COLOARAMA CLUBHOUSE hat die 20. Ausgabe ihrer legendären Anthologie heraus, für die sie regelmäßig internationale Comic-Künstler einladen, an einem Buch zu arbeiten. Alle bekommen eine anleitendes Motiv und eine Bleibe in Berlin für zwei Wochen. Der Goldstandard für eine kollaborative Comic-Residenz.
Eröffnet wird die Ausstellung mit einer Lesung von Hanako Emden (irl) und Tara Booth (remotely) eröffnet: Self-promotion — the bane of my existence. How autofiction became the object of my desire.

Colorama & Aisha Franz veranstalten einen kollaborativen Zine-Workshop. Inspiriert von der unergründlichen Mama Cadeau – die Schirmherrin für das diesjährige Clubhouse, produzieren wir ein kollektives Buch in acht Teilen, welches auf dem Risographen gedruckt werden wird.

Michelle Tophinke produziert pausenlos schöne und lustige Dinge, die uns an verregneten Tagen glücklich machen. Sie lebt und arbeitet in Münster und hat im Jaja Verlag veröffentlicht.

»CANTASTORIA – Is It Comics? Is It Theater?«
Cantastoria, or canta historia is a theatrical form where a performer tells or sings a story while gesturing to a series of images. It’s a fun and cheap way to tell short stories or share important information on the streets, at markets, in bars, and at protests.
At this workshop, with the help of illustrator and puppeteer Zsófi Rumi, participants will get a bit of context on the genre and its contemporary use, see a short performance, and – most importantly – they will make their own cantastorias as well.
The workshop costs 25€, 8 particpants, will take place in english.
