In unserer Bibliothek findet ihr selbstveröffentlichte Zines und Künstlerbücher aus den Bereichen Illustration, Comics, Design, Kunst und Fotografie.
Die Zines stehen nicht zum Verkauf, sondern sind nur zum Lesen und beglücken da!
Die Bibliothek wird von kleinen Ausstellungen, Veröffentlichungen, Lesungen und Workshops begleitet; zusammengefasst als ZINE SALON.
Los geht’s am Comicfestvial Wochenende (29. September — 1. Oktober) und freuen wir uns sehr, den Independent-Verlag Foot Books (Oslo/Leipzig) zu Gast zu haben!
Foot Books produziert farbenfrohe Zines im klassischen A5-Format, die internationalen Künstlern mit Schwerpunkt Zeichnung und experimentellem Comic eine Bühne bieten. Ihre klare und präzise Kuratierung und Gestaltung rahmen die darin enthaltene experimentelle und oft wilde Natur der Kunst in ein äußerst unterhaltsames Produkt ein, das der Zine-Welt einen Hauch von Professionalität verleiht, ohne Kompromisse beim Inhalt einzugehen.
Zusätzlich zu ihren bisherigen Veröffentlichungen präsentieren sie drei neue Zines von Acacio Ortas, Tracy Brannstrom und Tim Ng Tvedt.
Im November und Dezember folgen Hurrikan Press (Budapest), Colorama Clubhouse (Berlin), Michelle Tophinke (Münster) und Animal Press (Brüssel). Aber dazu später mehr…

From September 29th on our gallery will transform into a ZINE LIBRARY. No more big whitespace exhibitions, but instead hundreds of little treasures for you to discover! In our library you will find self-published zines and artist books from the fields of illustration, comics, design, art and photography. The zines are not for sale, just to read and make you happy!
The Library is accompanied by small exhibitions, releases, readings and workshops; brought together as ZINE SALON.
It starts on the Comicfestvial weekend (September 29th — October 1st) and we are very happy to have the independent publisher Foot Books (Oslo/Leipzig) as our guests!
Foot Books produces colorful Zines in the classic A5 format, which gives international artists with a focus on drawing and experimental comics, a stage. Their clear and precise curation and design, frame the experimental and often wild nature of art contained within it into a highy enjoyable product, which gives an air of professionalism to the Zine World without compromising in the content.
In addition to their previous publications, they will present three new works from Acacio Ortas, Tracy Brannstrom and Tim Ng Tvedt.
Next up, in November and December, are Hurrikan Press (Budapest), Colorama Clubhouse (Berlin), Michelle Tophinke (Münster) and Animal Press (Brussels). But more on that later…
